The Orchid Dress starts from a classic construction: a straight-cut sheath silhouette, in a classic tailoring fabric. The front is a hand-applied garden: each flower was individually shaped through moulage, meaning no two come out identical, even between pieces of the same style.
The straight neckline and wide straps support this appliqué and complete the design, but it is the tailoring behind the construction that makes the difference in the final result. A full lining and back slit carry the midi length through to the invisible back zipper closure.
